BRANSON - An Arkansas man has been convicted in the fatal stabbing at a Branson motel last year.

Terry Huey of Harrison, Ark., was found guilty Thursday of second-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

Prosecutors have said the 53-year-old Huey stabbed Dewayne Lynn in the arm and chest at the Crescent Court Motel in Branson on July 19, 2007.

The men had apparently been arguing over money.

Police found Huey in Boone County and were able to link his DNA to items found at the crime scene.

Huey is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 16.
