Five men stabbed in Moberly

MOBERLY — Five men were stabbed in the 300 block of College Avenue in Moberly early Friday. The assaults took place at approximately 2 a.m. The wounded men, three age 18, one 19 and one 22, were all Moberly residents. Four of the five were released after treatment. The 19-year-old was air lifted via helicopter to a Columbia hospital, according to a news release from the Moberly Police Department.

Two men, an 18-year-old male and 22-year-old male, were arrested and charged with first-degree assault, according to the release. However, Mike Fusselman, the prosecuting attorney for Randolph County, did not file charges, and both suspects have been released.
