A joint city and county Planning and Zoning commission meeting scheduled for Tuesday night has been canceled. The next meeting will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 16 in the Mezzanine Conference Room at the Daniel Boone City Building.
The joint commission was formed to create a sub-area plan of the land surrounding the site of the new high school in north Columbia on St. Charles Road. The committee plans to continue talking with land owners in the area and will use that input to decide what should go into the plan.
