ST. LOUIS - Archbishop Raymond Burke is set to begin his final week in St. Louis with a farewell Mass.

The Archdiocese of St. Louis says the Mass will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Cathedral Basilica.

Burke has been named as the first American to lead the Vatican supreme court.

The archdiocese has printed 2,000 programs for the Mass. The cathedral seats between 1,200 and 1,300.

At the Mass in St. Louis, Burke will be the principal celebrant and homilist. A reception in his honor is planned afterward.
