Don't bring your pig to St. Charles

ST. CHARLES — A St. Charles family will be forced to get rid of their pet potbellied pig, Sarah.

The City Council on Tuesday night voted down a bill that would have allowed families to keep one potbellied pig as a pet.

The city currently bans homeowners from keeping sheep, cattle, goats or swine.
