JEFFERSON CITY — Sen. John McCain will be joined by his new running mate and numerous big-name politicians when he comes to Missouri this weekend.

McCain plans a rally Sunday at a minor league baseball park in the St. Louis suburb of O'Fallon.

Country music singer John Rich is scheduled to warm up the crowd. Accompanying McCain will be Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin - announced Friday as his running mate.

Also sharing the stage will be McCain's former presidential rivals Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee, Republican gubernatorial candidate Kenny Hulshof, Gov. Matt Blunt and Sen. Kit Bond.

River City Rascals president Steve Malliet says the baseball stadium has a capacity of about 15,000 people for events such as this. Free tickets are available from various Republican offices around the state.
