The Missouri volleyball team beat Tulane 3-1 in its opening match of the season at the BYU Molten Classic in Provo, Utah. After losing the first set 25-23, the Tigers responded by winning the next three sets 25-20, 26-24 and 25-14. Sophomore Caitlyn Vann got her first start at the libero position and tallied 17 digs. Sophomore Weiwen Wang had 15 kills and nine blocks to lead the Tigers. Sophomore Julianna Klein and junior Megan Wilson both had nine kills for Missouri. The team finishes the BYU Molten Classic with matches Saturday against Utah State and No. 20 BYU.
