PrintSenior DeMarre Carroll scored 20 points Saturday to pace the MU men’s basketball team over the Ontario All-Stars, 120-80 in St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada, to open the preseason.
Seven new players combined for 43 points as MU started the game on a 15-0 run and led 30-11 after the first quarter.
Missouri shot 58.3 percent (49-of-84) and forced 27 turnovers. Transfer Zaire Taylor had five.
The Tigers will face the Brock University Badgers at 1 p.m. today and face the Southern Ontario All-Stars on Monday before returning to Columbia.
