JEFFERSON CITY — The state is offering a refund to 473 people who bought lottery tickets for a drawing after it had ended.
The Missouri Lottery discontinued its Show Me 5 Paydown on Sunday and started Show Me Cash on Monday. But on Monday, 473 people bought tickets for the midday drawing of the discontinued Sunday game.
The state lottery announced Tuesday that those who think they bought a ticket for the old drawing can get a refund by taking the ticket to a Missouri Lottery office or mailing it to lottery customer care. The state lottery will pay out if any of the numbers from the wrong tickets match those drawn Monday for the new game.
