Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint

COLUMBIA - A pizza delivery driver was robbed by two men Friday night on the 1200 block of Elleta Boulevard, according to a police report.

At approximately 9 p.m., two suspects ran up and demanded money from the victim, a 20-year-old male, as he walked to his car after making a delivery. One suspect pointed a gun at the victim, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.

The victim gave money to the suspects, who then left the scene headed northbound on Elleta Boulevard between residences, according to the release. The victim was not harmed in the incident.

Responding officers could not locate the two suspects.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, 6 foot, 160 pounds. He has short black hair and wore a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts. This suspect was armed with a black handgun, according to the release.

The second suspect is also described as a black male in his early 20s, 6 foot, 160 pounds. He wore dark clothing, according to the release.
