The Columbia College soccer team defeated Williams Baptist 4-1 on the strength of three second-half goals.

The Cougars (2-5-2) took a 1-0 lead on the road after Nermin Begovic scored on an assist from Dylan Barduzzi in the 33rd miniute. Williams Baptist tied the game in the 49th minute, but Columbia College responded with three unanswered.

Lloyd Jacobs started the run of goals when he scored in the 62nd minute on a Barduzzi pass. Barduzzi would add a goal himself in the 85th minute to push the score to 3-1. A little over a minute later, Barduzzi found Jacobs again for the final goal.

The Cougars outshot Williams Baptist 27-4. Columbia College next plays at home Tuesday against Westminster.
