OMAHA, Neb. — A Missouri woman was jailed Saturday following a 30-minute high-speed pursuit along Interstate 80 that damaged Nebraska State Patrol vehicles, but caused no major injuries.

Patrol spokeswoman Deb Collins said the pursuit began shortly before 1 p.m. Troopers found the car moved on eastbound I-80 near Giltner driving at speeds topping 100 mph.

The vehicle changed course at the Goehner and Beaver Crossing interchanges as troopers tried to use several maneuvers to get the car to stop.

It eventually landed in a ditch after trying to pass a semitrailer along the shoulder.

Collins said 38-year-old Jeanette Aston of Fenton was arrested and faces several charges, including willful reckless driving and possession of methamphetamine.
