McCain to stop in Missouri on Wednesday

INDEPENDENCE — Republican presidential candidate John McCain is scheduled to speak at an event at the Harry S. Truman Library and Museum on Wednesday.

Library spokeswoman Susan Medler said McCain is expected to campaign at the Independence library at 10 a.m. No other details were available.

McCain was in Iowa on Tuesday at an economic round table at a Des Moines concrete company.

Michelle Obama also will be in Missouri on Wednesday to campaign in Kansas City for the Democratic presidential ticket headed by her husband, Sen. Barack Obama.
