Public asked for input on Gans Road project

Monday, October 6, 2008 | 5:18 p.m. CDT

The public is invited to provide input on proposed alignments for the extension of Gans Road at a meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Rock Bridge Elementary School gymnasium.

Surrounding landowners, as well as the public, will be able to view three different alignments developed by the study team for the extension of Gans Road between Bearfield and Providence roads. Project exhibits with the alternative alignments and constraints will be on display, and the study team will be available to review information and talk to the public.

Each of the three alternative alignments will include one travel lane in each direction, a vegetated median and roundabouts.
