HOLCOMB — A southeast Missouri school district is considering banning any contact outside of school between its teachers and students.

Holcomb School District superintendent Jeff Bullock presented the idea during a school board meeting on Friday. He says the policy would protect students and ensure no teacher can be falsely accused of having anything more than a professional relationship with the students.

No action was taken at the meeting. Bullock plans to have the policy ready by the next school board meeting.
