ST. LOUIS — Democrat Barack Obama will campaign in Missouri this weekend.
Missouri campaign spokesman Justin Hamilton confirmed Wednesday that the presidential candidate will make two stops in the swing state.
He said Obama will address a public rally at the St. Louis Arch grounds sometime early Saturday afternoon, then will appear in Kansas City that evening. Details were still up in the air.
Obama and Republican John McCain are still running about even in Missouri according to the latest poll.
The CNN/Time/Opinion Research poll of 763 likely Missouri voters had McCain at 49 percent and Obama at 48 percent. The poll, conducted Oct. 11-14, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
The results are similar to a poll conducted by the same group two weeks ago that showed Obama at 49 percent and McCain at 48 percent.
