Seems that the population self-identified as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) becomes more and more. According to my experience on the site *BiLoves dotcom* (a site for coming out, explore sexuality, etc.), there are about 150 members per day and they are very active. You can imagine.Ifyou come here frequently, you may find what you are looking easily and quickly.
Probably gays are feeling more comfortable about revealing their sexuality these days.
Just a comment - it is perhaps a mistake to imply that gays overwhelmingly commit suicide because of discrimination. It is more likely that they commit suicide for the same reasons that straights do - lost loves, frustration with goals, or expecting too much of life.
Too many people make a political point out of correlation. We have to be careful when assuming causation.

As much as I understand your comments about being cautious with correlation. It is a very real thing that LGBT folks commit suicide due to discrimination. And large numbers. A daily barrage of being told "you dont belong here" can wear the strongest human down. So, although I understand what you are saying...please dont diminish the very real impact of constant discrimination.
people say that marriage is for a man and woman......then why in biblical times was marriage mostly for the joining of two families rather than the two people??...yes that is true.

if i ever commit suicide its for all the discrimination I've seen against women like myself in my fatherland, Iran. I dont understand why my heritage has been stripped away by some dirty Arabs who knew nothing about civilization!

How do you know the "stats" on LGBTQ suicides are due to discrimination? Exactly what is meant by discrimination in these "stats" and does every LGBTQ suicider leave a note stating that they have killed themselves because they are discriminated against? What's the discrimination rate for blacks who feel that they've been discriminated against? What are the stats for wheelchair-bound people who feel like they've been discriminated against? How about middle-aged white males who feel like they've been discriminated against due to EOE incentive hiring practices?
I do not make light of suicide by any means, but I do take so called "stats" with a grain of salt.
Perhaps these suicidal LGBTQs are mentally ill? Then your "stats" would attribute the correlation with mental illness and not discrimination. How about if LGBTQs commit suicide for lack of feeling connected to a higher power, beyond their sexuality, then the "stats" would show a correlation with lack of spirituality rather then discrimination. Perhaps your movement just likes to use the word discrimination to advance some other agenda then suicide prevention.
Maybe there's more to this article than meets the eye.
Great points ray shapiro and it is nice to know highly educated citizens such as yourself are not afraid to bring these obvious points out onto the tables for discussion.
