ST. LOUIS - Vice President Dick Cheney will be in Missouri on Monday to raise money for two Republican candidates.

Cheney is scheduled to appear at a private reception for 9th District congressional candidate Blaine Luetkemeyer at a club in the St. Louis area.

Then, the vice president will fly to Cape Girardeau for a fundraiser for incumbent Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder. The Southeast Missourian newspaper reported that fundraiser will be at the home of lawyer and conservative author David Limbaugh. Attendees will pay $250 each or up to $2,500 for a photo with the vice president.

No public campaign appearances are planned.

Luetkemeyer is opposing Democrat Judy Baker in the Nov. 4 election. Kinder faces Democratic challenger Sam Page.
