McCain has two stops in Missouri, another in Columbia possible

Friday, October 17, 2008 | 1:52 p.m. CDT

Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain will be in St. Charles and Belton on Monday.

The Missourian is still trying to confirm whether McCain will be visiting Columbia between these two stops.

On Thursday, Missouri Republican Party spokeswoman Tina Hervey said McCain would be in Columbia on Monday. However, McCain's campaign Web site lists only the St. Charles and Belton stops.

He will be at a rally at New Town at 3312 Rue Royale St. in St. Charles. Doors open at 7 a.m., and the program begins at 9 a.m.

McCain will also be at Heartland High School and Academy, Bill Harmon Field, 810 South Cedar in Belton. Doors open at 2:45 p.m., and the program begins at 3:45 p.m. Tickets are required for entry to both rallies.

Check back with the Missourian for more updates.
