I am sick and tired of being told by the Barack Obama supporters that I am a racist if I don't vote for him. I am not voting for a candidate because of the color of his or her skin. I am a conservative who believes that government cannot solve every problem.
Let's say for discussion purposes that J.C. Watts was the Republican candidate and John Edwards was the Democratic candidate. How many people who support Barack Obama would vote for J.C. Watts? Are they racist if they will not vote for J.C. Watts? I'm sure they would have a never-ending list of reasons to not vote for J.C. Watts.
I would vote for people like J.C. Watts, Walter E. Williams, Thomas Sowell and Clarence Thomas (to name a few) in a heartbeat! I would vote for them for their character and not the color of their skin.

I would also vote for Bill Cosby for President. But what leadership experience does Cosby have? Only somewhat less than Obama - or possibly even more than Obama does. But the reason I'd vote for Cosby is that he gets up and tells people things they definitely need to hear but don't want to hear. That's certainly something novel in American politics, isn't it?
