True/False Film Fest announces 2009 dates

COLUMBIA — The sixth annual True/False Film Fest is scheduled to return to downtown Columbia from Feb. 26 through March 1, 2009. The four-day festival highlights independent films fresh from Sundance, Toronto and other film festivals, and includes premieres of original works.

The films are shown throughout those days in numerous venues across Columbia: Ragtag Cinema, The Forrest Theater in The Tiger, The Blue Note, Macklanburg Playhouse and Windsor Auditorium at Stephens College and the newly restored Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts, which will host the festival's opening and closing films.
