DENVER — U.S. marshals say they arrested a man in Kansas City who is wanted in the shooting death of a man in Colorado four years ago.

Tommy "TJ" Lee Halfacre was one of Colorado's 20 most wanted fugitives and is suspected of killing Carlos Rene Ortiz Orellana in Aurora, Colo.

Police say Halfacre planned to rob Orellana but shot him in the head when Orellana told him he had no money. Halfacre's arrest in Kansas City Saturday was filmed by the "America's Most Wanted" television show, where he was previously featured.

U.S. Marshals Service spokesman Gerard McCann says Halfacre was going by the alias Kevin White.

The 25-year-old Halfacre is being held at the Jackson County jail in Kansas City pending extradition.
