BONNE TERRE — A former grocery store in Bonne Terre has been transformed into a church's new ministry center.
Centenary
United Methodist Church says its members pledged $1 million for the
building project, called The Cornerstone. The church says the building
is being used for its work and worship, but also for community outreach
efforts, such as a recent coat give away sponsored by an alliance of
ministers in the area.
Centenary United Methodist hopes the
building will be a significant new addition to downtown Bonne Terre.
The renovated building will be dedicated on Sunday.
