HALLSVILLE — One man was killed in an accident Thursday on Route B, just north of Low Crossings Road, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol online traffic crash reports.
William D. Williamson, 62, of Centralia, was driving northbound on Route B around 1 p.m. when he drove off the right side of the road and struck a concrete culvert and a tree, the report stated. The vehicle then rolled, and Williamson was ejected. Williamson was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
Williamson was pronounced dead by a Boone County medical examiner at 1:05 p.m. Thursday.
