KANSAS CITY — A convicted drug dealer has been identified as one of two men found dead in a Kansas City apartment over the weekend.

Officers went to the apartment Saturday morning after getting an anonymous call and found the bodies of 34-year-old Eric Flowers and 29-year-old Rigoberto Anaya-Sanchez.

Flowers was on probation for drug possession and had four previous convictions for distributing drugs.

Police are treating the deaths as murders but haven't said how the men died.

Authorities say the apartment is located in an area of Kansas City known for drug activity.
