Stephens, Columbia College basketball teams in action this weekend

The Columbia College women's basketball team (4-1) is traveling to Puckett Field House in Fayette for this weekend's Lady Eagle Classic at Central Methodist University. Columbia College will face Missouri Valley College at 5 p.m. Friday and Central Methodist at 3 p.m. Saturday.

COLUMBIA COLLEGE MEN'S BASKETBALL: The Cougars host Culver-Stockton (Mo.) College at 7 p.m. Friday. It's the second home game of the season for the Cougars (4-0). The Wildcats are 0-3.

STEPHENS: The Stars (1-0) will participate in the Maui Midwest Classic in Leavenworth, Kan., this weekend. Johnson & Wales University will be Stephens' opponent at 6 p.m. Friday. The Stars play Central Christian College at 6 p.m. Saturday. Both games take place at the University of St. Mary.
