COLUMBIA — A 21-year-old Columbia man was arrested Tuesday after evidence seized months ago was evaluated and deemed to be child pornography.

Trevor Scott Dunn was arrested on suspicion of first-degree promoting child pornography and possession of child pornography, according to a news release from the Mid-Missouri Internet Crimes Task Force.

After receiving information from the FBI about a Columbia man sharing pornography, the task force began the investigation in late February. A court-ordered search warrant issued in March led to the seizure of multiple computers and other evidence that resulted in Dunn’s arrest.

Children estimated to be between 3 and 10 years old are depicted in the images, according to the release.
