ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis County Army sergeant who finally found help for the trauma she suffered in war and a sexual assault in the military is the subject of an online documentary series on Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans.

Sergeant Angela Peacock was raped by a fellow soldier while deployed in South Korea, then advised by her commander not to tell.

Peacock held onto her secret, even during her stint in Iraq. She suffered physical and mental illness as a result.

She got help after disclosing the rape in a session with her therapist.

Peacock says she continues to struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder but is trying to get her life back.

Her story is part of the online documentary series "In Their Boots.''

"Angie's Story'' premieres Wednesday.
