COLUMBIA – For the second time in as many months, Boone County sheriff's deputies cracked down on suspected methamphetamine production.

Deputies searched Daniel and Rebecca Lyons’ home at approximately 9 a.m. Tuesday, at 11391 Hecht Road, south of Hallsville, according to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Department. They found evidence of recent drug use and meth manufacturing on the property.

It is unknown whether any material was seized in the search. No arrests were made.

The search follows an Oct. 3 meth bust in Hallsville that resulted in five arrests, according to Missourian archives. Tuesday’s search, according to the release, is related to last month’s search that is a part of an ongoing department investigation into a group of people working together to manufacture meth in Boone County.

The Sheriff’s Department was unavailable for comment.
