CENTRALIA — A 10-day strike at the Hubbell Inc. manufacturing plant is over.

Union workers at the plant voted Tuesday to approve a new three-year contract with the Connecticut-based company. More than 500 members of the International Union of Electrical Workers went on strike Nov. 8 after rejecting a proposed contract that included a reduction in some health and retirement benefits.

Officials with the Connecticut-based company did not immediately reply to a request for comment.

The plant is Centralia's largest employer. It makes plastics, construction materials and tools for electric power lines.
