Holiday parade marches through downtown

Jaycees' 29th Annual Holiday Parade was held in downtown Columbia on Sunday afternoon. Several marching bands, floats, classic cars, and dance troupes took to Broadway to march in the environment-themed parade, dubbed "We're Dreaming Of A Green Christmas."   ¦  JAMES OSTLER/Missourian

The Columbia Jaycees held their 29th annual holiday parade Sunday afternoon.

 Children gather candy thrown out by participants in the 29th annual Jaycees' Holiday Parade held in downtown Columbia on Sunday afternoon. Many of the parade participants dressed in costume, with characters including Winnie the Pooh, a penguin, circus clowns, and Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, among others.   ¦  JAMES OSTLER/Missourian
