HARRISONVILLE — The husband of a western Missouri woman shot to death in her bathtub is pleading for information about the slaying, and a hospital has donated $10,000 to the reward fund.

Jeff Roberts on Tuesday made his first statements since the death of 30-year-old Cara Jo Roberts on Nov. 5. He asked anyone who has information on his wife's death to contact police.

During a news conference in Harrisonville, Cass Regional Medical Center announced that it had donated $10,000 in reward money, making the total $11,000.

Harrisonville Police Chief John Hofer says the investigation is continuing and detectives are waiting for forensic evidence to come back from the lab.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
