ST. LOUIS — The Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra said two new members of its executive staff round out a team that will move the institution forward.

The nation's second-oldest orchestra announced Tuesday the addition of Bret Dorhout, vice president for artistic administration, and Timothy Case, vice president for development.

Dorhout will join the symphony in January. Case began Monday.

Symphony president Fred Bronstein said the two will be part of developing new audiences, building a donor base and reinvigorating the institution's brand.

Dorhout was artistic administrator and director of artistic planning for the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Case was director of individual giving at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry.
