COLUMBIA — A joint effort by the FBI, the Columbia Police Department and the Boone County Sheriff's Department turned up cocaine and weapons in a Columbia home, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Department.

The law enforcement officers served a drug-related search warrant at 1670 Sonora Dr. on Monday evening. The search located an unspecified amount of cocaine, evidence to distribute those drugs and stolen firearms, according to the release. Officers arrested the resident of the address, 42-year-old William H. Rogers, for two outstanding no-bond warrants. The investigation is ongoing.

According to Missouri Case.net, Rogers was given a seven-year jail sentence after pleading guilty to a charge of felony distribution and manufacture of drugs.
