LAURIE — An 83-year-old man is dead after falling from a bluff while hunting at the Lake of the Ozarks.

The victim is Robert Parker of Sedalia.

The incident happened Saturday in Camden County. Investigators say Parker shot a deer and was tracking the animal when they both fell from a bluff, about 35 feet above Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri State Water Patrol says Parker's body was recovered in the lake.
