ST. LOUIS — Three people have been injured in an explosion and fire at a St. Louis home.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports on its Web site that the blast happened around 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The injured adults were transported to Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where two people were listed in critical condition. St. Louis fire Capt. Bob Keuss said injuries to the third person were minor.

Keuss said a natural gas leak is the suspected cause of the blast, which caused extensive damage to the interior of the home.
