KANSAS CITY — Three people died after a two-car crash in Kansas City just minutes into the new year.
The Kansas City Star reports one vehicle struck another stopped car at about 12:20 a.m. on Thursday.
At least one vehicle caught fire. Two people died at the scene. A third person died after being taken to the hospital.
Officials have not identified the victims.
