There’s something about the new year that gives us all a sense of empowerment, the feeling that we are poised once more to turn our lives around, to reach again for lofty goals we allowed to fade during the frenetic 12 months just passed. In the interest of giving our neighbors a jump-start on their aspirations for 2009, the Missourian staff fanned out across town to get resolutions on the record.
