CHESTERFIELD — The search continues Friday for the gunman who shot and wounded a contract worker at a Pfizer Inc. facility in St. Louis County.

The woman's wounds are not considered life-threatening.

Chesterfield police say the shooting happened around noon Thursday in a construction zone at the facility. It wasn't immediately clear what led up to the shooting or what the relationship was between the shooter and the victim.

More than 40 officers, SWAT team members and a police helicopter searched the 300-acre facility for several hours after the shooting, but the gunman was not found.
