For centuries Jews were forced to live in ghettos because they were considered inferior and often scapegoated or killed for events not of their making. Politicians in Israel have learned much from their own historical oppression by maintaining the worlds largest ghetto for Palestinians in Gaza. They have banned journalists and human rights officials from reporting the slaughter up close. Despite their craven attempt to downplay the scale of human suffering they are inflicting, the truth emerges from the rubble of Gaza's destroyed food depots, bombed hospitals, schools, mosques and U.N. compounds full of refugees. After months of starving and humiliating the Palestinians with their own form of apartheid, the Israelis have attacked boats trying to deliver humanitarian aid, denied doctors entry to Gaza and expelled the U.N. official monitoring the humanitarian situation when he simply said what he saw, which was Israel's violation of U.N. resolutions and the collective punishment of civilians.
No programs, nor holocaust against Jews can justify what Israelis are doing to Gaza. Shame on the arms merchants, politicians and arsenal factory workers who have made an accomodation with evil so that they and their families can live comfortably at the expense of the dead. You would do well to remember Psalm 33: "Rulers are not saved by their armies. Nor can they find hope in their weapons. Despite their power, they cannot bring peace."
