"The Green Bible" is catching the attention of those interested in learning how Scripture and religious organizations speak to "caring for creation." Released in October, the New Revised Standard Version Bible features:

Don Day, a member of Broadway Christian Church, recently bought a copy after reading about it on the Internet. “I haven’t had time to delve into the book yet,” he said, “but I have found the scriptural passages related to the environment interesting and plan to go through the book’s ‘Trail Guide’ on my own and possibly lead a study on it in the future.”

"The Green Bible" can be purchased at Barnes and Noble in Columbia for $29.95.
