COLUMBIA — An injury accident on Range Line Street left one Columbia woman injured Tuesday.
Charlie Thrasher, 69, was traveling southbound on Range Line Street near Vandiver Drive in his semi tractor-trailer, which was pulling a truck. As he approached a stop light, Thrasher took his foot off the brake and his vehicle hit the back of a Pontiac Bonneville driven by Alphonso Gray, 38, who was stopped at the light, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.
Geneva Brown, 37, a passenger in the vehicle, was injured in the accident and transported by ambulance to University Hospital. At the time of the report, Brown was still being treated in the emergency room. No additional information concerning the accident is available at this time.
