COLUMBIA — Another season of Columbia’s Artrageous Fridays, at which the public can prowl through 17 galleries and other downtown businesses in search of art, kicks off Friday evening. Each business plans to entertain with an array of art media.
Make Scents, for example, intends to entice both noses and ears by allowing the public to create their own perfume while listening to its ukulele house band, K23. Pen Point Paperie will provide supplies for people to create a valentine. At Sven’s Kafe and Gallery, the public can enjoy the art of ballet while watching the Missouri Contemporary Ballet practice.
Artrageous Fridays is held quarterly. The other dates for 2009 are April 24, July 24 and Oct. 23.
