PrintI am saddened that someone felt the need to steal my handicapped son's entire paycheck at the Walmart on Grindstone Parkway Thursday night. My son is an adult handicapped person who is currently the sole bread winner in a family of four handicapped adults. Thursday evening, he dropped his wallet at the door as we left just after him cashing his check. This is to the person who stole the money, his entire $353 paycheck : I hope they sleep well at night! May Karma return to you threefold the evil you have done. You left an entire family without means of food or the ability to pay rent. I hope that you remember this every day of your tiny life, for it takes someone lower then low to steal from a handicapped person. I thought I moved to a state with nice people. You have tainted my perception of this state and its people. We have only been here two and a half months. You do not have any idea how badly you have not only hurt my son but the entire family. That money was to pay our rent so we would not be evicted. We now have NOTHING!

Holly McGee I am sorry for your loss and that of your family. Please accept my prayers of hope to you on this issue. Although prayers do not do much they often times help. Please excuse the callousness of Cullen Breedlove in their post as it is obvious they do not know what it is like to live with Developmental Disabilities nor do they obviously care either.
Try to contact the Voluntary Action Center for help as soon as possible.

Thank you gentlemen as this forum nor it's great readership does not need to be treated like that ever and nobody ever deserves to be treated in that fashion. That was just wrong. Thank you for keeping this forum as clean as it can be.
Know what is awesome, how an institution like the University of Missouri--Columbia Journalism school preaches freedom of the press and then censors average citizens that voice contrary opinions. Shame on you. It is indeed hypocrisy at its finest. And shame on you Charles, for helping promote censorship in a public forum.
Geddy Lee if you had seen the rude,disgraceful,slanderous,hypocritical and totally degrading comments they deleted you would not be saying that.
I was so disgraceful and disrespectful to the victim above who came forward to share their story and that is just wrong.
I myself would have IP banned that person off the servers forever for those types of comments posted.

Freedom of speech is very important to us at the Missourian and at the Missouri School of Journalism. But when that freedom is abused to levy personal attacks at other readers, spew hate speech and generally cause trouble, they get banned.
