COLUMBIA — Utility financial expert Peter Bradford and a panel of advocates are making a stop in Columbia on Tuesday night for the CWIP Truth Tour, sponsored by Missourians for Fair Electric Rates.
The CWIP Truth Tour will include discussion of Construction Work in Progress and the effects that may come from overturning 1976 voter-enacted laws that protect electric rates by banning CWIP charges.

Missourians for Fair Electric Rates argue that St. Louis-based AmerenUE's lobbying to repeal the current ban on charging for CWIP would cause higher bills for Ameren customers.
The panel starts at 6:45 p.m. at the Commission Chambers of Boone County Government Center, located at 801 E. Walnut.
