CLAYTON — A Catholic priest was sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty to charges related to a drunk driving wreck that left another driver injured.

John Brockland plead guilty on Friday in St. Louis County. He was charged with assault of operating a motor vehicle intoxicated resulting in injury.

The accident happened in May when Brockland's vehicle was involved in a collision in Creve Coeur. Investigators say he ran a red light.
