How does this season's MU basketball team measure up?

COLUMBIA — Missouri coach Mike Anderson's team is delivering on its preseason claims of being a surprise team.

After starting the season without a single vote in either major poll, the 22-4 Tigers are third in the Big 12 Conference and were ranked No. 11 in Monday's AP poll. The ESPN/USA Today poll ranked the Tigers No. 10.

It's the first time Missouri has been ranked in the top 10 in either poll, after December, since 1994.
