COLUMBIA – “The Real World,” the longest-running show in MTV history, will be holding a casting call at MU next week for anyone between the ages of 18 and 24.
The reality show, created by Bunim/Murray Productions in 1992, focuses on seven or eight people who live in a house together for several months and are constantly monitored by cameras installed around the residence and carried by crews. Cast members are instructed to ignore the cameras except during weekly “confessionals” in which they share their thoughts and feelings about the goings-on around the house.
