SANDUSKY, Ohio — Ohio-based Cedar Fair says it's considering selling amusement parks in Missouri and Minnesota so it can pay down its debt.
Cedar Fair Entertainment Co. says the two parks are Worlds of Fun in Kansas Cityand Valleyfair near Minneapolis.
The company said Monday that it's too early to speculate on the timing or price of any deal.
Cedar Fair also has been talking about selling California's Great America in Santa Clara, Calif., to the San Francisco 49ers for parking at its proposed football stadium.
Cedar Fair took on a huge debt in 2006 with its $1.24 billion acquisition of Paramount Parks Inc.
The company also said Monday that it will cut its annual distribution rate nearly in half to $1 per limited partner unit.
