COLUMBIA — The Rock Bridge boys basketball team suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Chaminade in the Class 5 semifinals Friday at Mizzou Arena.

The Bruins (27-3) led by as many 21 points and held a firm lead entering the fourth quarter over Chaminade (26-4). But the Red Devils outscored the Bruins 29-10 in the last quarter, taking the lead for good on a Bradley Beal free throw with 1.4 seconds left in the game.

A last-second 3-point shot by the Bruins' Ricky Kreklow was blocked by Chaminade's Brandon Lockhart.
